General

1) The word minimum has been terminated, but will return if I see one-liners or any other type of tiny posts. Five-hundred words is still required for joining. If you are a beginning rp-er, please utilize the Writing Workshop board under our OOC section. Our staff is more than happy to help you improve on your writing.
2) You may only post your own characters, anyone caught posting someone else's character will be banned without warning.
3) You must join and be assigned an Element before posting in-character anywhere on the site.
4) Respect both the staff and other players at all times, especially staff. The staff at Hoof Prince has a lot to do from deity posts to stats. Be grateful.
5) This game is rated PG-13 plus. I say plus because swearing is allowed, but don't go overboard..
6) Regarding adult content - be tasteful and mark as EXPLICIT in the subject line. Need I say more?
7) Keep all personal non-game related issues out of the game. If you have a problem with another player, please notify the staff and we will help you work through it... but do not take matters into your own hand
8) Please be active. If you cannot maintain your characters, don't join them.
9) No powerplaying. This means you.
10) Please be as realistic as possible in your posts.
11) All levels of experience are allowed. We encourage improvement and advancement in role playing. Any discrimination or rudeness to new players or beginners will be punished.
12) The time period for Twysted is modern. This means that things like guns and computers exist, and you're more than welcome to use them
13) Magic applies, but only to the level that your equine character was at in Hoof Prince, or the level you were assigned upon joining
14) If you join a character that's just for Twysted, make sure you make a note of that on the join board. Our staff will assign you an element and a level.
15) We are now implementing the 3 strikes, you're out rule. If you break the rules, we will give you only 2 warnings, and on the third warning, you will be banned. I am tired of dealing with drama and fights, and this is a preventative measure to keep it from happening. Please remember, various offenses call for different consequences, which are determined by a panel of staff members on a situational basis.

Appearances

1) Standard races and mixed races are all allowed
2) Hair color and eye color should be relevant to your type unless dyed/using contacts
3) If you choose to have children, the children will be a mix of both parent's types
4) Special markings (not tattoos), abilities and traits must be approved by staff

Tokens

1) Tokens are earned for winning battles, successful debates, advertising or other tasks handed out by staff. These will be given out randomly by the staff as well for exceptionally well-written posts, and the like.
2) Keep track of your tokens on the token board located under OOC, this will allow staff to verify everything and keep your powers up-to-date.

Fights and Debates

1) All battles are role played. If you don't know how, learn. The players must agree on terms of the fight/debate.
2) Only the challenge master may judge or determine outcomes of a fight. Any disputes can be taken up with the staff.
3) You may use your powers in a fight, but things may not always go as planned.
4) If you are being challenged and are active, you have 3 days to reply to the challenger. If you do not reply within that time, you will lose the fight.
5) All challenges and results will be posted on the specified challenge board (The Warehouses)
6) If you make a challenge to someone, you are the attacker, and they are the defender. That means whoever issues the challenge needs to post first.
7) The challenger is free to set the terms for the fight (weather, number of attacks, etc.), but the battle judges will reset the terms if they are not deemed fair.
8) For a basic battle set-up, request for one and it will be posted.
9) Word limits are prohibited.
10) If you are lacking in a debate topic, contact a member of staff, we will help you decide one
11) Fights for individuals, property, or pride belong in The Warehouse, whereas fights for tokens or practice belong in Skid Row Boxing Club.
